Orthopedic Cupping

A person receiving a massage outdoors on a massage table, with a focus on their back and neck, while a massage therapist presses hands on their shoulders.

Orthopedic cupping helps to release adhesions/tightness to restore range of motion and decrease pain. Cupping can be done statically (non-moving) or dynamically (with movement). Both methods can be used during a session according to what the body needs & what is being treated in the session.

Cupping is myofascial/soft tissue decompression. It lifts, stretches and spreads tissue, creating space and removing adhesions. Cupping will restore movement and remove blood and lymph in that area, getting good blood flow and facilitating healing.
