Manual Lymphatic Drainage: Vodder Method
Manual Lymphatic Drainage: Coming May 3rd, 2026
Manual Lymphatic Drainage promotes drainage within the lymph vascular network.
It reduces traumatic, systemic and post-surgical edema (swelling), can provide relief from ailments such as migraine headaches, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. MLD is beneficial in reducing edema post cesarean-section.
Through the pumping and stretching effect on the lymph vessels, the Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage stimulates the contraction of smooth muscles in lymph vessels, helping to move the lymph forward and drain the connective tissue.
Fluid movement in the connective tissue (interstitial fluid) as well as the movement of lymph is assisted with MLD. By stimulating microcirculation and lymph vessel motility, MLD can be successfully employed in edematous conditions, such as lymphedema and certain types of venous edema.
